I work at a computer for most of the day and the rest is spent in the car, how can I improve my posture?

A.

Come along to Jimbo and enjoy putting your body into the correct position and
working the muscles to hold it there.

am in my 40s and I have never been sporty or competitive, but I need to take exercise. How would Gym Mostyn classes help me?

A.

It is never too late to take up exercise and at Gym Mostyn we understand that many
who come to us have never been involved in sport. You work at your own pace in an
informal and friendly environment where it is easy to come on your own.

I am a runner and would like to cross train, would Indoor Rowing be suitable?

A.

It would be a very good cross training exercise as it is non-impact but works all the
major muscle groups in the body.

I would like to take exercise with my partner, but he is much fitter than I am. Do you have anything that would suit us both?

A.

Indoor Rowing, Circuit training and Jimbo are challenging enough for both of you; you work at your own pace.

I go to the gym but I don’t use the rower as I find it boring. How could I manage to row for an hour at Gym Mostyn?

We set the session to music: each session comprises a warm up, body of work and cool down - we hope no one is bored, it feels like a team effort.

I have a bad back, will Indoor Rowing make it worse?

We give you time to learn the correct technique which should help you to strengthen
your back muscles and prevent further problems.

How much do the sessions cost?

A.

Circuit Training is £3.50, Indoor Rowing and Jimbo are £5. They all last one hour.

What do I wear

A.

For all our classes you need comfortable clothing, but nothing too loose as it could
become a nuisance while you are exercising.

What do I need to bring?

A.

You need trainers, water, a towel and a warm sweat to wear after the session.
