Circuit Training

What is it?

A session of exercises worked at by a group of people for a set period of time, controlled by an instructor

The exercises work all the major muscle groups and combine strength, power CV work and flexibility with some impact work

Circuits at Gym Mostyn

At Gym Circuit Training takes place twice a week and is attended by a great diversity of members.  Each person works at his or her own pace, but within the group situation.  This allows families and friends to be together, all achieving fitness at their own levels.

Is Circuit Training safe for me to start?

There is a long warm up before the intense part of the session starts and every exercise is competently explained.  However, parts of every circuit are high impact exercises, so it is not suitable for those with joint problems or the very obese.
