Sally has always taken exercise, but not in the competitive way that Jim has enjoyed. Sally has walked an average of 4 miles a day with her dogs and periodically she plays tennis, swims and joins various exercise classes.
In 2003 Sally joined Jim’s rowing crew class and loved the camaraderie of the group exercise and the challenge of the monitor. Sally became an instructor in 2005 and in 2006 joined Gym Mostyn taking both Rowing classes and Core Stability sessions.
Sally found the ‘ball’ a real challenge and was quite hopeless to begin with. Now it has become a way of life. Sally says "I am fitter, stronger and more flexible. I believe it will help me maintain good posture and ward off the problems which beset women during menopause and beyond".
